USC Verdugo Hills Hospital — WordPress Custom Template
Brand system + conversion-focused CTAs for a healthcare community site.
Client location served: Glendale, CA (Verdugo Hills area)
The challenge
USC Verdugo Hills Hospital needed a consistent, recognizable web brand experience that could scale across multiple pages and future site updates. The website also needed stronger “next step” actions (calls-to-action) and a way to measure engagement from high-value click events. The solution had to support responsive behavior, clear navigation, and a flexible WordPress structure—so internal teams could keep content updated without breaking layout or brand consistency.
The web design solution
After approval, I engineered the selected design into a custom WordPress template with flexible components that could be reused across the site. CTAs were positioned intentionally to support key actions (appointments, service exploration, and important destination pages). To support hospital-wide communication, I implemented an alert rail feature so urgent messaging could appear across pages when needed. The final build delivered a cleaner experience, a stronger branded UI system, and a scalable foundation for future enhancements.
