The challenge
We received direct instructions to design multiple interface concepts for a top-ranked medical school leader, exploring different color directions while staying aligned with the broader Keck Medicine brand. The site also needed a way to keep news and updates fresh automatically, while structuring content for multiple audiences—academic, clinical, and leadership—without sacrificing clarity.
The web design solution
From the approved concept, we built a custom WordPress parallax theme that highlights credentials, announcements, and stories, and integrated a syndication feed to automatically populate news from an external source. The final experience was responsive, performance-minded, and SEO-friendly—supporting brand awareness and making it easier for visitors to understand the dean's role and leadership within the university community.
