The challenge
MJM Designz needed to develop a modern, user-friendly website that projects an inviting, modern, parallax functionality to the user experience. We needed the website to engage students with informative content, leading to higher click rates and increased enrollment for medical school programs offered by USC. The new website needed separate important sections as individual areas with different themes, that users would be able to differentiate when navigating through the content of the one-page scroll. We created a full-width, large imagery experience for all age groups of the target audience.
The web design solution
and the second mockup with a unique user interface and user experience compared to the previous old layout. Once approved, we engineered a parallax, one-page scroll sectional WordPress responsive website. Our team then implemented a syndication feed to pull external stories into the “patient stories” section of the site for an automatic update of blog posts from those specific website categories. We also branded a custom template for a dietetic look from the other entity multi-sites that are installed on WPMU.
